Al Harrington Celebrates
In 1953 future entertainer and "Hawaii Five-O"
actor Al Harrington—clutching a shave ice—is carried
off the field by jubilant Punahou players and fans. In what would
be known as "The Game," the Buffanblu have just eked
out a 22-20 come-from-behind victory over previously undefeated
St. Louis. As a result, Punahou is on its way to its first ILH
championship in 29 years.
